Please help our community partner, The Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry,  TAKE A BITE OUT OF HUNGER during a special local campaign in September.  Joining forces with members of the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce, the Pantry will team with small business to raise awareness, funds, and food to fight hunger in our backyard.  Across the community, merchants will create their own special programs of support---challenging employees to run a food drive, incenting customers with coupons to donate staple food items, or selecting a day to share a percentage of receipts with The Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry.

To support this effort, The MKIFP Board is asking Bet Torah as a sponsoring congregation, to help TAKE A BITE OUT OF HUNGER with our own food drive.  Specifically, the Pantry is asking Bet Torah to donate boxes of pasta, which is in high demand at the Pantry.  Please help your hungry neighbors by bringing your contributions to Bet Torah's Mitzvah Closet in September.  If you have any questions, please contact Sheila Bortniker at [email protected].

Let’s all TAKE A BITE OUT OF HUNGER! Thank you!
