Nursery School Programs
Bet Torah Nursery School offers preschool classes for two, three, and four year-olds. We also offer a Kitah Katan program, a two day per week separation class for toddlers 18 months and older.
Our early education program is designed to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in each child in a developmentally appropriate, exciting and inviting environment. We strive to provide opportunities for children to learn through play each day.
In addition, all Nursery School families and their siblings are welcome to our Shabbat Programs, and of course our Summer Camps.
2s, 3s and 4s Program
We offer classes for the 2s in a three day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) or a five day program from 9:30 – 11:45 a.m.
We offer classes five days each week for 3s from 9:15 to noon, with an option to extend the day to 1:30 or 2:30 in our after-school enrichment program.
We have two programs for the 4s: either a 4s program which meets 9:15-noon, Monday-Friday, with an option to extend the day to 1:30 or 2:30 OR a 4s Plus program, which meets Monday and Friday from 9:15-noon with an option to extend the day to 1:30 or 2:30 and meets Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:15-2:30.
If you are new to our program and would like to schedule a tour of our school or would like to register your child, please contact the Nursery School.

After-School Enrichment Program
Our Enrichment Program for 3s and 4s is offered in the fall, winter and spring, Monday through Friday, from noon to 1:30 and noon to 2:30, depending on the enrichment class. Children share a lunch period, an enrichment class and enjoy a recess period on each day they are registered for enrichment. The Enrichment Program is open to three and four year-olds who are potty-trained and capable of self-care in toileting.
SOS - Stay On at School Emergency Lunch Bunch Program
SOS - the Stay On at School Lunch Bunch Program - is for eligible 3s or 4s who would like to stay after school on a day when they are not enrolled in an after-school enrichment class. The fee for this program is $40 per session for your child to stay until 1:30 pm (Monday-Friday) and $60 per session for your child to stay until 2:30 pm (Monday-Friday).
In order for potty-trained 3s or 4s children to participate in the SOS program, parents may bring in the SOS form to Mindy Citera,Nursery School Director. The form must be received NO LATER THAN the day before the date needed in order to reserve a space for the day requested. Parents may also email Robyn (rmalter@bettorah.org), by 6 pm the night before. The child’s teacher, the director and the enrichment staff will be notified to let them know your child is staying on after school.
Children bring a dairy, nut-free lunch on the day they stay for the SOS program. Children must be picked up promptly at enrichment. Late pick-up will prevent participation in future SOS programs.
A child does not have to be enrolled in any enrichment program to participate. He/she must be potty-trained and be capable of self-care in toileting and hand-washing activities.
