Memorial Plaque
Bet Torah offers Memorial Plaques to those wishing to memorialize their loved ones.
"The deaths of those we now remember left holes in our lives. But we are grateful for the gift of their lives and we are strengthened by the blessings that they left us and the precious memories that comfort and sustain us as we recall them this day." - Mahzor Lev Shalem
In honor of your loved ones, the Bet Torah office will arrange for bronze Memorial Plaques to be placed in our main Sanctuary. Those whose names appear on a Memorial Plaque are automatically included in the Book of Remembrance published annually at Yom Kippur.
The cost of the plaque is $540 and it generally takes about two months from the time of purchase to receive the final plaque. If you are interested, please fill out the form below.
If you have any questions you can call Ilana White in the main synagogue office (914-666-7595) or email her at ifleischner@bettorah.org.
- Once you submit the online form, the draft of the plaque inscription will be emailed to you so you can approve the content.
- Once we receive the physical plaque, you will be notified by email that it is ready to be placed in the sanctuary.
- If desired, we can also schedule a time to view the plaque in the sanctuary together with Rabbi Brusso or Rabbi Sacks and to say a prayer in honor of your loved one.
Zichronam livracha, May their memory be for a blessing.
