Interfaith Conversations with Our Adult Children

Interfaith Conversations with Our Adult Children

Our child may be intermarrying; What do I do now?

October 10, 17; November 7th at 8:00pm.

Please join us for a 3-part series to learn ways to foster a meaningful relationship with the couple based on mutual understanding and respect. Facilitated by Rabbi Brusso and Sandy Kellogg, LCSW, the group will:

- Explore the effect on us of our children’s choices
- Listen to one congregant’s Jewish journey toward conversion
-Learn how the Conservative movement and Bet Torah have changed in welcoming these couples into the Jewish community
- Develop the tools to have these delicate conversations while remaining connected to our children.

Because participants found last year’s program to be very useful, we are offering it again. Sandy has been welcoming interfaith couples into our Jewish community for over 25 years. She also taught an Intro to Judaism course to help these couples in their Jewish journey, in Northern Westchester synagogues, including Bet Torah, for 10 years.

Space is limited to allow for smaller group discussion. Please sign up by emailing Sandy.Kellogg@gmail.com.  Questions? Please call Sandy at 914-238-5497.
