In-person at Bet Torah, no fee.
Teens in 8th-12th grade are invited to join Rabbi Brusso in-person at Bet Torah, at the most sacred and contemplative time of the year between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur for discussion and to engage in the process of Heshbon Nefesh.
What is Heshbon Hanefesh?
Literally an “accounting of the soul,” it is the process of taking stock to take action to teshuvah (repenting from one’s sins).
Protocols For Participation:
- Fill out the Daily Health Questions THURSDAY between 4:30-5:45 p.m. This must be submitted by an adult, not a teen.
- Drive up to the curb and wait for a staff member.
- Wait in the car until a staff member confirms that you have completed Daily Health Questions. Teens can leave the car and enter the building only after confirmation.
- If you must arrive late, wait in the car and call Loen’s cell.
