13th, directed by Ava DuVernay, provides a stark examination of the U.S. prison system and looks at how the country’s history of racial inequality drives the high rate of incarceration in America. The discussion will be led by Reverend Doris K. Dalton, Chair of the Westchester County Human Rights Commission. To participate, just watch the film on either Netflix or YouTube. You will no doubt be moved by its powerful content and be eager to discuss it.
