7:45 PM - 9:00 PMBet TorahDon’t miss this conversation with Etgar Keret, renowned Israeli writer known for his short stories, graphic novels, and scriptwriting for film and television. His writing has been published in The New Yorker, Zoetrope and the Paris Review.
In an exhibit at the Berlin Jewish Museum called Inside Out, Etgar Keret used memories of his mother as a point of departure and wrote new stories for the occasion.
The stories portray both day-to-day family life in Israel and traumatic wartime experiences inspired by the life of his mother, who was born in Poland in 1934.
Please join Rabbi Brusso and Etgar Keret for what will be a fascinating discussion about Creativity and Catastrophe.
