Torah In The Trees

(Bet) Torah In The Trees

Little Torah.  Lots of Trees.

Inspired by the words of the great Hassidic Rabbi, Rebbe Nachman, who said: “May it be my custom to go outdoors each day, among the trees and grass—among all growing things and there find God,” we are launching a new program called [Bet] Torah in the Trees. Please join me as we explore different trails on four Thursday mornings this summer where we will share some brief reflections from the Jewish tradition and then walk and talk and maybe find God…or at the very least, enjoy the scenery and one another’s company.   No need to RSVP, just show up and we will meet in the parking areas (dogs are welcome). Please feel free to call me or to email me ([email protected]) with any questions.

The dates and locations are as follows (all at 10 am):

Thursday June 8th at Kitchawan Preserve

Thursday June 22nd at Rockefeller State Park

Thursday July 13th at Rockefeller State Park

Thursday July 27th at Butler Sanctuary

In case of doubtful weather that morning, please call my cell at 917 855-5935 to check if we are still on.
